Meet Our Staff

Tim Attaway, Manager

Tim Attaway, Oblong Funeral HomeTim grew up and graduated from Robinson High School. Tim’s wife is Jane and they have two sons Dan and John and three grandsons Cale, Logan and Anthony and a granddaughter Sarah Kay.

Tim is a 1972 Graduate of the Indiana College of Mortuary Science, Indianapolis, Indiana and has been a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1973. Tim has been the manager of the Oblong funeral home since he moved to Oblong, July 1, 1994, from Monticello, IL.

He and Jane live in Oblong and are both members of Central United Methodist Church, where they have both have served on several committees. Tim has been active in the Oblong Chamber of Commerce since 1995 and has served as President for the last five years. Tim is also a member of the Oblong Ruritan Club.

Professionally, Tim is a member of the Illinois Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association and the Funeral Ethics Association.

Lori Potter, Office Manager

Lori Potter, Oblong Funeral HomeLori grew up in the Chauncey, Illinois area and is a graduate of Red Hill High School. She has been with Pulliam Funeral Home – Oblong, since November 1991.

Lori is married to Alan Potter and has a step daughter Alana and a son Justin and resides south of Oblong. Lori is a member of the Oblong Evangelical United Methodist Church where she has served on several committees.

Lori is also Treasurer for the Oblong Chamber of Commerce. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and reading.
